Flea Market Finds..

Happy Flea Market Finds! Sorry I'm a little bit late today, its been a very big week and was topped off last night when I got to meet and photograph The Butterfly Effect live on stage which was very exciting indeed. So needless to say it has been a quiet day around my house today. But never the less, I have a few finds to share with you and I do hope you have had a fabulous week and have discovered a few wonderful finds yourself. To check out all the lovely finds from last week, just pop over here.

Yesterday I had a lovely time pottering around Rose Harvest and found two delightful little treasures to add to my collection.

A lovely little 1940's Sadler milk jug to match my teapot and the sweetest green typewriter ribbon tin to add to my collection.

So what delights have you found this week? To play along just leave a comment and add your flea market blog post link (not just your blog link) in the Linky below so we can all check out your goodies. Remember you can play any time during the week! And please feel free to upload your fabulous finds to the Flea Market Finds flickr pool too.

So this week my find happening purely by coincidence when my fabulous friend (and director of Grease) and I were out searching for prom dresses for Grease, she pointed out this gorgeous turquoise coat. And well I kinda fell in love..

A lovely vintage coat for $6, certainly made my day!

Although I'm still trying to find 1950's style prom dress, I know have a pretty coat to keep me warm whilst I search. Oh and ff you happen to see any 'Grease' style dresses on your travels, I'd love to hear from you!

Flea Market Finds..

Happy Sunday! I hope your are enjoying this beautiful Sunday and have had many flea market adventures this week. Thanks so much for playing along last week, to check out all the loveliness, just pop over here.

My week has been very hectic so sadly I didn't get a chance to go op shopping. But never fear, today I thought I'd show you one of my favourite ever flea market finds.

I found these very sweet heels at an op shop on the Gold Coast a few years ago and just fell in love. Not often you can find purple heels with lightning bolts on them in a Lifeline store. Was indeed my lucky day!

Dream of fabulous adventures!

Sorry I've been a little quiet the past few days, it seems life is very hectic at work at the moment with marking and report writing. So whilst I sit here today marking short stories and writing report comments, I'm dreaming about my next fabulous adventure, to somewhere where I can wear a lovely straw hat.

Happy Saturday!

My Creative Space..

So my creative space is a little different this week and delightfully so, thanks to Susannah and this fabulous Unravelling course I am doing. This week is about the everyday moment, the really everyday ones, making a cup of tea, grocery shopping, even doing the washing. So today, with my phone as my camera, I went about capturing my everyday.

My little experiment.. 6:00pm feeding the cat.

The whole documenting experience has been so interesting, especially using a phone as a camera. I'm enjoying it so much, I have a feeling this might become a regular process. The everyday really is quite beautiful.

For many more lovely creative spaces, pop over and see the queen of creative Kirsty.

I hope you are having a fabulous and creative Thursday!

Flea Market Finds..

Afternoon! Hope you are having a lovely Sunday so far. Sorry Flea Market Finds is coming to you a little late today. You see, I've got a bit of a cold so I'm going a little slower than usual on this lovely Sunday. How has your week been? Thanks so much for playing along last week, to check out everyone's delightful finds just pop over here.

I did a little spot of op shopping yesterday morning before finding myself curled up in a ball on the couch by the afternoon and I am so glad I ventured out because I found some lovely bits and pieces.

My fascination with sweet plates and saucers continues. I seem to buy almost every one I find. I think I might even have enough now for a little wall display. And my favourite find for the day, this gorgeous turquoise enamel teapot.

So what delights have you found this week? To play along just leave a comment and add your flea market blog post link (not just your blog link) in the Linky below so we can all check out your goodies. Remember you can play any time during the week! And please feel free to upload your fabulous finds to the Flea Market Finds flickr pool too.

Find a beautiful sunny spot to nestle in, with a lovely pot of tea and spend the afternoon with your journal.

So I'm back after a few wonderful days away in the wilderness and I'm preparing myself for a few very busy weeks ahead of marking and report writing and counting down the days until the next holidays, when I can take a breath and spend some time just being me. I will certainly being spending a little time with my journal this afternoon, dreaming up ideas and exciting plans for my two weeks off.

Have a wonderful Saturday!
