Happy Sunday my thrifting friends, I do hope you are having a lovely Sunday catching up on all your favourite things. Have you had some wonderful thrifting finds this week? Pop over here to check out all the lovely vintage bits and pieces.
This week my finds were all about florals..
And funnily enough my favourite find of the week was actually from one of our cupboards. As we were rearranging rooms yesterday I found a little box in the back the kitchen cupboard which I hadn't realised came with us when we moved. Inside was my great grandmother's Royal Winton butter dish, in a gorgeous shade of green which I thought was still in Brisbane with my family. I think I'll be check all my cupboards for hidden treasures now.
I was also delighted at the sight of this 1960s shift dress in the thrift shop window. The colours are still wonderfully bright and perfect for warming up a winters day.
My floral trio is complete with this sweet tea tray complete with faux doily pattern.
I'd love to know what you found this week. To play along just leave a comment and add your flea market blog post link in the Linky below so we can all check out your goodies. It would be just so sweet of you to link back here from your blog too, so that others can play along. Remember you can play any time during the week! Oh and pop over to Apron Thrift Girl for Thrift Share Monday. Please feel free to upload your fabulous finds to the Flea Market Finds Flickr pool too. Looking forward to seeing all of your lovely thrifty pictures. If the Linky disappears, just refresh your browser.
Happy Thrifting

ReplyDeletethat butter dish is a remarkable treasure. so special that it's a heirloom!
ReplyDeleteFinding stuff like that in your cupboards is like putting on a winter coat and finding twenty bucks in the pocket. Or the necklace you thought you lost...not that I've done that or anything...
ReplyDeleteI found a tray like that recently, but it was all scratched up and had been treated very badly. I wanted to give it a home anyway, but my husband has forbidden these kinds of crazy purchases. So sad.
