Oh yes I do! Handmade delights make the world a more beautiful place and what could be more fun than crafting up a storm. Hooray for buttons and brushes, scissors and scraps, paint, paper and wonderful people who taught us the tricks of the trade along the way.
In a celebration of all things handmade, I'd love to hear about your favourite designers, creators and crafty types... And of course what you're crafting right now.
Three cheers for Handmade!

I've been making a lot of jewellery recently - mostly putting pre-made stuff together but hoping to get a bit more creative with it. It's very satisfying! Jen x
ReplyDeleteI love that print! Right now I'm working on new handmade purses, and new handmade cards :-D Yay.
ReplyDeletefave designer: amy butler of course! :)
ReplyDeletep.s. recent follower and already i love you! :)
Hi sweet Sophia! I have only been reading your blog for about a month now but you have quickly become one of my favorites. You truly have inspired me in many ways... thank you for just being you, I guess! Right now I am learning how to crochet... It has had its frustrating moments but I am excite to be learning. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that print. I like how it has a stamp like texture to it.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm crafting a dress. I bought a faded yellow linen dress that I'm stamping using fabric ink and a stamp (compliments of Paper Source). The stamp is of a hot air balloon and I think it's going to be the perfect summer print!
ReplyDeleteThere's a woman in Ketchikan Alaska that makes boot liners called Slugs. They're awesome and you can find them on etsy. They work especially well inside Xtra Tuffs which are pretty much the Southeast Alaska tennis shoe. I'm wearing them in a few of my pictures but they're pretty cute and super spectacular!
ReplyDeleteI hear you lady! My main craft of choice is sewing, although I pretty much love anything which results in something pretty, including food! Some of my favourite sewing ladies are listed here on my blog.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I finish this comment I'm gonna make myself a coffee and get started drafting a new sewing pattern for a Summer blouse with pussy bow neck tie, shoulder gathers and floaty sleeves. Wish me luck!
I love crafting. I just started exploring jewelry making and beading, but I love to sew. I am making basic curtains for the first time, so far so good. I am also sewing a new hat and embroidering a pillow case. Unfortunately, I am also decopaugeing (may not be a word but you know what I mean) random things around the house, like picture frames and plain boxes. So many crafts, so little time! Thanks for the inspiration, you blog is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI just made a new iphone cause and I posted a tuturial on my blog. Would love for you to check it out. I am making baby shower gifts!
