I love putting together unexpected outfits, especially in winter. With so many layers and accessories to play with, the options seem almost endless. For weeks I'd been wondering what to wear these burgundy tights with and this morning just by chance I noticed they matched perfectly with one of my favourite winter hats which I bought in London back in 2005. Then I realised my hat matched my new jacket and hooray, my winter wardrobe just became a little more colourful. I still have a big crush on stripes at the moment and this knit dress is so warm and comfortable, I'm hoping it will see me and my bump through to the end of winter. I'm off to Brisbane on Friday to visit my beautiful family for a week and I can't wait! I'm really looking forward some slightly warmer weather, family thrifting adventures and of course to do a spot of shopping.

I do love that hat! (and your bump is pretty gorgeous too - I call that the ultimate winter accessory). I am partial to scarves and shawls to ward off the winter chill and brighten up my layers.

Lovely! I am rubbish at trying to work coloured tights into my wardrobe yet it always looks so good on other people. I am just a little too attatched to my black opaques.

Great outfit! My favourite winter accessories are wrist warmers, and my favourite pair are a dirty grey mauve colour, in a wool felt that reach practically to my elbows!!
