It's that time of year when a lovely magazine, a cup of tea and a cozy nook can just make your day. When it's cold outside, toasty inside and there is nothing more delightful than finding that perfect moment to warm up and unwind. The June issue of Country Style is the perfect companion for times just like these. Filled with inspiring articles and beautiful images it is sure to warm up your day. Here are a few of my favourite articles.
The lovely Ness, owner of Marley & Lockyer fills her home with a gorgeous eclectic mix of softly worn and love delights, reminiscent of a Hampton's retreat. The blogger and designer creates a beautiful space which echoes her gorgeous blog and shop.
Geraldine James writes a wonderful article about collecting and displaying your favourite objects. Coupled with Andrew Wood's inspiring photography, Geraldine offers some delightful hints and tips to help you make the most of your favourite hidden treasures.
The beautiful and historic town of Ballarat is this month's perfect spot to journey to. Check out all the lovely places to stay and perfect nooks to stop for fabulous coffee, long lunches and treasure hunting.
So if you are searching for something to enjoy with your pot of tea this afternoon, be sure to pick up the June issue Country Style. For more information about the issue and to check out the inspiring blog, pop over to the Country Style website and for a behind the scenes look at this issue, check out their Facebook page.
How do you enjoy spending your afternoons this time of year?

Stunning styling of your beautiful magazine. My best friend renews my subscription to Country Style every year, it's such a blessing & truly the gift that keeps on giving. I just let a picnic basket leave our home, due to space & clearing out, it was tough, but i had to share with someone else, who will love it just as much. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteYears and years ao, my big sis worked on Country Style and it was so daggy we laughed and laughed. Not laughing now... I'm a dedicated subscriber. I think it's pretty much the best mag on the Ausse market for knowing its audience and delivering the goodies every single month. x
ReplyDeleteIt's summer here and eighty-something degrees fahrenheit, so I like spending my time inside with a little iced tea! We head outside in the evenings--early summer sunsets are always gorgeous, I think.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Country Style is available in the US? I'll have to find out, because it looks wonderful.
This is gorgeous - brilliant job with the styling. I have to admit, my reading is being done inside and from the warmth of my couch! x
