This week has been one of those wonderfully busy, insightful and inspiring weeks. Each day has been filled with exciting outings, wonderful catch ups and even a few lovely quiet moments. Here's how my week looked according to Instagram..
Sunday.. Was a perfect day to venture to Finder Keepers. The weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful time checking out all the gorgeous creations and watching the world go by in the gardens.
We also ate some yummy treats and I found the perfect cupcake to match my tights!
Monday.. While I was in Brisbane, I just had to take a trip to Ikea. My mum and I had a wonderful time wandering through the show room and check out lovely things for the nursery. This was one of my favourite displays and I think one of those little coffee tables is a must have.
While at Ikea I bought the gorgeous book Beloved Homes which is full of amazing and unique home ideas.
Tuesday.. I got my 17 week bump out and headed to Bubs to check out some prams. My mum and sister make wonderful shopping companions and helped me narrow down a few options for Ben to test out when I got home. I'm now on official pram watch and find myself checking out every pram that passes me by.
Wednesday.. Began with a 4:30am start to catch a 7:00am plane. I was home in Mildura by 11:30am and still on pram watch, so Ben and I headed out to Baby Warehouse to test out a few. Who knew buying a pram would be like buying a car. No final decisions made yet so if you have any pram advice I'd love to hear it. Our fridge was looking a little empty, so grocery shopping was next on the agenda. I was delighted to find Pink Lady apples in season.. which I always think look so pretty on vintage floral.
Thursday.. We've been working on a makeover of our backyard for the past month and after a wild thunderstorm and downpour on Wednesday night it now resembles a construction site.. So out come the gumboots, Olive's new favourite place to hide.
I also popped into a few of my favourite thrift shops on Thursday afternoon and spotted this lovely little pair of deer which will be added to my little nursery collection.
Friday.. Today was my perfect kind of day. Ben had the day off and we enjoyed a lovely bunch together and made lots of exciting lists and plans for the coming months. This afternoon Sarah and I headed out for a thrifted adventure and scored some fabulous finds. And after a successful thrifting adventure it's a must to celebrate with amazing chocolate brownies at Fine and Sunny and catch up on all the weeks happenings with Annie and Shell.
So that's how I've spent my week. What have you been up to this week?
Much Love

What a busy and wonderful sounding week you have had. You are right about buying a pram. It is a momentous decision and my only advice is to definitely fold and unfold before you buy! Good luck...
ReplyDeleteYes, make sure your pram is easy for you to fold and lift in and out of the car!
ReplyDeleteI love my Bumbleride Flyer stroller! It's adjustable so it can go from a pram-like position, where baby is facing you and laying down, to a traditional stroller where baby is facing out and sitting all the way up.You can use it from infant to toddler. I loved ours so much, and I think it looked great. I was always able to keep my daughter Isobel's face out of the sun. Perfect.

Whoops, I forgot to mention, those flickr links show off our stroller.
ReplyDeleteOoh that cake looks yummy! I also love the little deer. How cute!

Lovely Sophie, you look great! I am in Mildura soon and cant wait to visit Annie and Shell :) My only advice on the pram is to make sure you can lift it...our major purchase ended up weighing a tonne. Have a great weekend x
ReplyDeleteYour bump is beautiful honey! And I was asked nearly everyday if I was having twins! We can't help it if we are short! My pram opinion is defiantly to spend the extra and get a bugaboo! We still use it for Ba'il! The are quick, trendy and comfy xoxox
ReplyDeleteGreat Instagrams Sophie! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely week! I love the cupcake with your tights!
ReplyDeleteI'm of little help in the pram department as with number two we have all but ditched the pram for most outings and use a collection of different carriers and slings. So much easier and hands free to carry thrifted treasures when on outings.
ReplyDeleteYour bump is super cute and you sound as though you've had a most splendid week. Rest well before the working week starts again.
