Yesterday as I was checking out gorgeous new Ruche collection, Dazzling Decades, I began to think about the eras of fashion that influence my daily wardrobe. After going through all the delightful outfits and realising I loved them all, it all of a sudden became clear why I can never quite pin down just one particular style. It seems my wardrobe is a mixtape of decades. From 1920s Paris to London in the 60s, I'm drawn to the distinct details and characteristics that make each era gorgeous and unique. Here are a few of my favourite outfits from the Ruche collection..
So I'd love to know.. What's your favourite era and do you add inspiration for your favourite decade into your wardrobe?
Much Love

I thought about this after I saw you pinning these images on Pinterest. I think I'm a 50's and 60's girl. Cardigans, full skirts, polka dots. That's all me. ;)
ReplyDeleteAfter reading the question of your title I knew instantly what era I was. I'm definitely a 1930 style girl. Then I saw the outfit for that era. Yup. That's me.
ReplyDelete50s and 60s for sure. I love the fitted waists and floofy skirts of the 50s but the bold colours of the 60s suck me in too.
ReplyDelete50s and 60s! I love the flirty fun look! and the boldness of it all!
ReplyDeleteI saw that collection the other day too and I realized the same thing. I loved all the decades they mentioned, but I have to say that most of my outfits are inspired by the 50's and 60's, but I am definitely looking to add more 20's flapper looks to my collection.
ReplyDelete30s and 60s :D are amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel, I'm drawn to different elements of the style of every era! I'm probably most fond of the silhouettes of 50s clothing and the colours and patterns of the 60s and 70s. :)

I am totally a 1960s London girl too! As much as I wish I could get away with little scooter dresses, the early 60s silhouettes suit me much more.

I think I only own 50s era-style dresses. I sew them myself even because I can't get enough.
ReplyDeleteThe old days style is adorable <3
ReplyDeleteloving this post! I'm going to work out my era this evening, is grampa an era?
ReplyDelete1930's with a hit of 1940's I think. I'm a 1939 kinda gal. x
ReplyDeleteI couldn't choose just one either but top three (in no particular order) are 40's, 50's and 60's.
ReplyDeleteAs a vintage collecter and seller it goes without saying that I love fashion from different eras! ;)
ReplyDeleteI mostly find my wardrobe influenced by 50s and 60s fashions but I also like to mix vintage with modern to create my own look. I adore 20s fashion but there's no way I can pull of those drop-waist dresses. :)
